Leiston Football Club moved to their current ground ‘The Watson & Hillhouse Victory Road Stadium’ in 1921. A number of years after their promotion to the Southern League Premier Division Central, Leiston Football club decided it was time to update the railing which separates the spectators from the pitch.

Leiston Football Club selected SpectatorSafe, a mesh solution with a tubular top rail which is for comfort when spectators are leaning on the railing. SpectatorSafe replaced a tired and damaged guard rail, which has evidently seen lots of the action at Victory Road Stadium over the years.

Our purpose-designed SpectatorSafe railing is an aesthetically pleasing solution to protect spectators and to stops spectators encroaching onto the pitch. It was powder coated in blue at our in-house facility to match the club’s colours.

The project was complete by local fencing contractor Arbus and the Leiston Football Club said “We are very pleased with how the fence line looks around the perimeter of the pitch”.
